Bespoke kitchen, utility room redesign, and home bar, Marple
The bespoke kitchen in this home in Marple was redesigned to incorporate a kitchen island which could be used not only to prepare food for the family but for informal eating and supervising the children’s homework.
Cosmic grey granite on the kitchen island work surface was chosen as it not only looks beautiful, it’s also very practical.
The feature shaker mantel is a focal point in this kitchen and is used to conceal the extractor for the Rangemaster Range cooker. Classic in frame shaker style counter top glass cabinets sit either side of the mantel providing valuable storage as well as unique interest for displaying glass wear and crockery.
A large in frame shaker bespoke cabinet sits on the back wall which incorporates a bifold larder, fridge freezer and further kitchen storage. If you look closely you can see Henry the dog’s bed below!
A new doorway now connects the kitchen to the dining room where we made a bar to fit precisely into the alcove of the dining room. Complete with wine chiller, glass shelving, mirrored back, and drawers for corkscrews, cocktail accessories, muddlers and mallets!
Finally we refitted the utility room so Henry now has his very own bathing area in the large Belfast sink with spray tap!
