Scandinavian design is characterised by its clean lines, simplicity and minimalism which never go out of style. This bespoke Contemporary Scandi Kitchen, painted in soft French Gray by Farrow & Ball is inspired by the natural cool colours of the landscape but warmth has been added with a clever mix of interesting textural features and great lighting.
The bespoke cabinetry was crafted with sleek slab doors to create simple sophistication with soft leather and brass pull handles to add character and authenticity. Wall cabinetry has been kept to the minimum in favour of oak and brass open shelving for storage. The brass kitchen taps and oak flooring echo the natural materials used in the scheme.
A Smeg range cooker and stainless steel hood feature in the centre of the kitchen together with the large roof lantern which casts a mellow glow throughout. The mix of metals: copper, brass and stainless steel add interest, depth and a sense o timelessness to this kitchen design.
The large kitchen island is perfect for entertaining with seating for 5, ocean white quartz worktop and a wine cooler. The kitchen extension support almost disappears into the bespoke kitchen island by using sympathetic pale tones on the walls and worktop.
A separate utility room was designed to complement the main kitchen complete with tall cabinets sink, oak work surface and Belfast sink.
