Unique Hague Blue Shaker Kitchen, Glossop

We think the testimonial from this client in Glossop says it all! At Handcrafted Kitchens we love to fulfill our client’s expectations in making a kitchen as unique as you are.

“We chose HCK because we wanted to put an individual stamp on our kitchen and it occurred to us that a lot of the higher end kitchens all looked the same! My favourite part of the kitchen is the long glazed cabinets across the top of the back wall. I used to teach foreign languages and I was keen to have phrases we had selected on a cookery theme etched on them together with a period border, they are absolutely stunning!”

In this family open plan kitchen the bespoke kitchen island with quartz carrera worktop is truly multifunctional. It acts as the main food preparation area but also has a seating area, drawers and cabinets for storage, a washing machine and dryer and recycling facilities!

The large bifold larder cabinet on the rear wall has a huge capacity for storage of foods and large appliances with a quartz work surface running throughout. The upper cabinets are beautifully glazed and have been etched with unique foreign language phrases.

The gorgeous white Everhot stove is dual purpose, not only providing a large capacity for cooking but heats the whole open plan kitchen.

The tall cabinet next to the Everhot houses the integrated fridge freezer, microwave and ironing board. The beautiful warm orange glow of Farrow and Ball ‘Charlottes Lock’ emanates from the bookshelf above which contrasts perfectly with the main colour ‘Hagues Blue’.

In front of the window with a view to the garden is a double Belfast sink with vintage brass taps and an integrated dishwasher.

The finishing touches of matching pin board, spice racks, eclectic wall plates and artwork make this is truly individual kitchen which allows the personality of the clients to shine through.
