Project Description

Contemporary Shaker Kitchen Remodel, Cheadle Hulme

The remodel of this gorgeous detached property in Cheadle Hulme ticked all the criteria for the homeowners; better use of space, more work surface, and a large kitchen island, and all without the need to extend. So how did we do it ?

Choosing bespoke furniture is key to allowing you to absolutely maximise space because you are not restricted to fixed sized cabinets and can accommodate existing structures such as low beams and chimney breasts. We moved the range cooker and mantel closer to the existing brick nib which allowed room for an integrated fridge next to the wall and made way for a huge increase in work surface. The kitchen sink was moved and we created a beautiful new large quartz peninsular kitchen island with room for casual seating.

The new bespoke kitchen design provides a huge amount of storage space without looking cluttered. Solid oak wall shelves in the corner break up the wall cabinetry and allow space for books and individually styled crockery. A much desired kitchen larder cabinet completes this beautiful contemporary shaker kitchen.
